Dan Dodson

Dan Dodson returned to Climate Central as Chief Technology Officer in September, 2019, having worked previously at Climate Central as Software Developer for the Program on Sea Level Rise. In addition to his experience building Climate Central tools such as the Surging Seas Risk Finder and 3D flood visualizations in Google Earth, Dan has a broad-ranging background in technology from his time in the financial services industry. Over the years Dan has acquired experience in operations, infrastructure management, software architecture and design, user interfaces and web development, and more. Dan holds an A.B. in Mathematics-Physics from Brown University, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with specialization in Machine Learning.
