Webinar: Insights for Effective Wind and Solar Energy Storytelling in 2024
Tuesday, April 16, 2024
About this webinar:
In the rapidly evolving landscape of renewable energy, effective storytelling is key to engaging audiences and driving meaningful change. In 2024, nearly all new grid capacity in the U.S. will be carbon-free, with solar and wind power accounting for more than 60% of this, according to the Energy Information Administration.
During this webinar, experts from Canary Media, Rewiring America, and Climate Central engaged in a dynamic discussion about the remarkable growth and evolution of solar and wind energy, exploring the current status and future potential of these burgeoning clean energy technologies. Participants left empowered to effectively tell renewable energy stories to their audiences.
Speakers:
Julian Spector is a senior reporter at Canary Media, where he covers batteries and emerging technologies to store clean energy and unlock a carbon-free grid. He also reports on the budding clean hydrogen industry, and chases down clean energy breakthroughs in far-flung locales.
Talor Gruenwald is a Senior Associate at Rewiring America, where he conducts quantitative analyses at the intersection of residential building electrification and electric grid decarbonization, including the economic, emissions, health, air quality, and equity implications of building electrification policies.
Jennifer Brady is the Senior Data Analyst at Climate Central. In her role, Jen uses data to identify significant trends, patterns and notable climate events, while managing a team of researchers and production staff.
