About the Master Class

On March 18, Climate Matters in the Newsroom launched our Climate Reporting Master Class. The Master Class is a free, online program designed to help journalists up their game in incorporating climate change into their reporting on every beat. The Master Class is organized as topical modules that you can engage with at your own pace and on your own schedule.

Each module includes short videos and online resources that will inform and inspire your climate reporting. View eight or more modules and attend at least one live event to earn a climate reporting certificate from Climate Matters in the Newsroom. Learn the science, impacts, solutions, and communications skills from top experts, including:

To celebrate the launch, we are hosting our first live event on Thursday, March 18 at 12 Noon ET. Howard Frumkin, M.P.H., Dr.P.H, a physician and epidemiologist and Professor Emeritus of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the University of Washington, will speak on the health impacts of climate change in his presentation, Climate Solutions are Health Solutions.
